low carb bread
Recipe:
- 1 Cup Buttermilk
- 2 Eggs -- Beaten
- 2 Tablespoons Butter -- Cut into patties
- 4 Cups high gluten flour
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1 - 1/2 Teaspoons packet quick rising yeast
Add ingredients to bread machine in the order suggested by the manufacturer. If there are no specific instruction for the bread you're baking, chose basic bread cycle, medium/normal color setting, for a 1 1/2 lb. loaf.
NOTE: It's a good idea to check the dough after 5 minutes of mixing in your machine. It should be a smooth satiny ball. If the dough looks too dry then add 1-2 tbsps of water. Alternately if the dough is wet-looking, add 1-2 Tbsps of flour.
Resting, kneading, rising and baking will take approx 3 hours and 40 minutes. Remove the loaf from your bread machine as soon as it is done and let it cool on a rack.
